The Howell Condo Market
One thing that I find very surprising is the number of condos for sale in Howell. There are 19 condos for sale, while next door in Freehold Township, there are 11. What’s surprising is that Howell has a total of about 1,800 condos, while Freehold has about 3,400. SO why are there more condos for sale in Howell? Frankly, I have no idea. But what I can tell you is that, in addition to the 19 which are for sale, 20 homes are under contract and 5 closed in September. This tells me that the real estate condo market in Howell is very strong. It’s a good market for a seller. However, if you’re a buyer, there are a lot of others people looking to purchase the same home you’re looking for.
The average asking price for a condo in Howell is $252,652. Surprisingly, the average asking price of the homes under contract is $297,342. This number is higher because of the new construction townhouses at Eagle Ridge, which sell for over $500,000. The average sale price in September was more in line, at $223,100.
