Not many people use high tech home security. It’s not because we don’t want to, we’re just not aware of what’s available. Here are a few easy to use systems you can easily implement.
Video Surveillance
The newer, more advanced systems for the home can be wireless. The signal gets transmitted to your computer. You can send the signal from your computer to any TV or monitor in the home. You can also view the inputs remotely from your phone.
Doorbell Cameras
These can send a photo to your computer and/or phone the moment someone steps on your front porch. They can save video, or you can converse with whomever is there. You won’t need to open the door for strangers or if it’s just a delivery man dropping off a package.
Bluetooth Deadbolts
Many deadbolts these days are Bluetooth enabled. Imagine this – you walk to your front door with your arms full of packages.. You already have the Bluetooth deadbolt app running on your phone. You tap the deadbolt and the door unlocks. In addition, you can remotely unlock the door for a visitor. Some units also automatically lock after they’re closed.
Door Chimes
Install a door chime on every exterior door in the home. When a door is opened, a chime is sounded to make you aware.
Interior Smart Lighting
Interior light scan be controlled remotely from a phone app. This can give the appearance that someone is in the home.
Exterior Floodlights
Motion sensors can turn exterior lights on. In addition, a phone app allows you to control the lights also.
These are just a few of the high tech home security products. You should consider adding at least a few of these features to your home. This will allow you to make your home more secure, as well as functional.
